Stake Casino sports betting: markets and cash out
Sports bets at Stake Casino are placed from the same wallet as casino play: with hryvnia from a Visa or Mastercard card or with cryptocurrency. The sportsbook covers football, tennis, basketball, the American leagues and esports, and the bet types include singles, multis, Same Game Multi, Asian and European handicaps and cash out on some markets.
Below we explain the main bet types using examples from the operator's help centre, when cash out is unavailable, what happens to a voided bet and why it pays for a bettor to climb the VIP club. The examples and rules are from the operator's help centre, October 2026.
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Bet types | single, multi, Same Game Multi |
| Handicaps | Asian, European (3-way) |
| Cash out | on some markets |
| Voided bet | x1 odds |
| VIP progress | sports count ×3 |
| Rakeback | 3.5% of the theoretical value |

The Stake Casino sportsbook
The sports section is split into pre-match and live. The examples in the operator's help centre feature Brazil's Série A and the English Premier League, and for Same Game Multi the American NBA, NFL, MLB and NHL with markets on individual players.
The casino and sports run on one wallet, so there is no need to top up separately for betting. A sports bet counts towards deposit wagering once the event is settled, not at the moment the bet is placed.
Singles, multis and Same Game Multi at Stake Casino
A single is a bet on one market in one match. A multi (accumulator, parlay) combines markets from different matches: it can only win if all selections come in. A voided selection in a multi is counted at x1 odds, and the payout is made on the remaining events.
Same Game Multi is a bet on your own combination of markets within one match, popular in the American leagues. Here the rule is stricter: if one selection is voided, the whole slip is voided.
Example: a 500 ₴ multi on three events with odds of 1.8, 2.0 and 1.5 gives total odds of 5.4 and a payout of 2,700 ₴. If the match for the third event is cancelled, it counts as x1 and the winnings will be 500 × 1.8 × 2.0 = 1,800 ₴.
Handicaps and totals at the Stake sportsbook
An Asian handicap adds goals to or subtracts goals from a team to even out the chances. A bet on the favourite at −1.5 wins only if it wins by two or more goals; a bet on the underdog at +1.5 wins if it wins, draws or loses by one goal.
A European (3-way) handicap has three outcomes: a home win, a draw with the line applied, an away win. An Asian total on half lines (2.5) gives only a win or a loss, while on whole lines the stake is refunded if the number of goals is exactly the line.
| Market | What it takes to win |
|---|---|
| Handicap −1.5 | a win by 2+ |
| Handicap +1.5 | not losing by more than 1 goal |
| Total over 2.5 | 3+ goals |
| Total under 2.5 | up to 2 goals |
Cash out at Stake: when it does not work
Cash out lets you take part of your winnings or reduce a loss before the event ends, and the amount may be either higher or lower than the stake. However, the operator lists cases where the button is missing or the request does not go through.
- The market or event is suspended.
- The odds changed during the delay that applies to every cash out.
- Same Game Multi: cash out is not available at all.
- Player bets: cash out in pre-match only.
- The event has no live coverage.
Bets closed with cash out do not earn rakeback; keep this in mind if you play for VIP rewards.
Voided bets
The odds provider settles a voided bet at x1, meaning the stake is returned. The reasons the operator names are: the match is cancelled or abandoned, the market has no winner (for example, Draw No Bet in a draw), the market result was not determined, and an error in the offer.
Stake Casino bets and VIP progress
Bettors have a noticeable advantage in the VIP club: every sportsbook bet weighs three times as much towards progress as the same bet in the casino, so a bettor reaches the Bronze level ($10,000) after just $3,334 in bets.
Sports rakeback is calculated from the theoretical value of the bet: the operator assumes a notional 3% edge and returns 3.5% of it. Example: bets of $2,000 give a theoretical value of $60, and rakeback of $2.10. Partner codes and Drops are covered in the Stake Casino promo code article.
Cashier and withdrawing winnings
Betting winnings are withdrawn the same way as casino winnings: hryvnia goes to the deposit card within 100–40,000 hryvnia per transaction and arrives in a few banking days, while cryptocurrency is withdrawn without a ceiling. Before that, the top-up must have been wagered in full at least once.
If the main address does not open, you can place a bet or withdraw money via an official mirror; see Stake Casino mirror.
The wallet, limits and Originals are covered in our Stake Casino in Ukraine review; our terms are in the terms section, and helpline numbers are on the responsible gambling page.
The operator is registered in Curaçao and holds no PlayCity licence, so Ukrainian player protection does not extend to betting here. Separately, in Stake Smart you can block your own access to sports only while keeping the casino, which is handy if betting has started taking up too much time.
